GS20 devices must be connected to follower devices via Ethernet to receive the scanning results. The GS20 sends a trigger over TCP/IP to initiate scanning on the follower devices.
In this case, an Ethernet Switch with a minimum number of ports equal to one (GS20) plus the number of followers to the PC and the host PLC is required. The GS20 Leader Module supports trigger and continuous modes when follower devices are triggered via TCP/IP.
