After clicking the Update button, the progress bar shows the percentage completion of the firmware update. After the procedure is complete, observe the success or failure message to confirm the result of the update. The LEDs flash red on the device to indicate success and automatically reboots and beeps.
A factory reset is highly recommended to clear out old XML and zjob files and replace them with newer ones. This is necessary for GS20 and other leader devices, such as the FS40, with a Gateway license upgrade.
