The host Heartbeat indicator only applies in Client Mode when the Host IP is specified.
To add a new follower device:
Click
Setup
on the left menu of the
Home
screen.
Select the follower device you intend to configure from the menu (set to
UNDEFINED
by default), enter the device name, IP address, optional trigger delay, and trigger input into form fields.
Leader to Follower TCP/IP Trigger mode: when using TCP/IP to trigger follower devices from the leader, select
TCP/IP
in the Trigger Input field.
Leader to Follower GPIO Trigger mode: when using GPIO to trigger follower devices from the leader, select either
OUT0
or
OUT1
in the Trigger Input field. Ensure that this matches the hardware setup of the GPIO connection pins.
Leader to follower TCP/IP Continuous mode: when using follower devices in continuous mode, select
None
in the Trigger Input field.
When multiple followers connect to the same GS20 GPIO output pin, all followers trigger with the lowest trigger delay specified. If you intend to use different GPIO input trigger delays for each follower, configure the GPIO settings for the follower devices in Zebra Aurora.
Clear the IP address from a specific follower.
Continue adding follower devices by overwriting
UNDEFINED
followers.
After the configuration for each follower is complete, click
UPDATE
.
Observe the message requesting the user to wait for at least two minutes before sending the following trigger to the gateway.
After committing the changes, the newly added follower devices can be viewed by navigating to the Home Screen. The
Followers
table on the right lists all follower devices and updates with new device data.
