Setting Up Serial Triggering

Triggering between the devices occurs over TCP/IP, there is no serial connection between the leader and the follower devices.
To set up a Serial Trigger from the host to the Connectivity Gateway:
  1. Navigate to the
    Configuration
     screen using the left menu on the Home screen.
  2. Locate the
    Serial
     section and click
    Config
     to set the serial settings for the device.
  3. Toggle the
    Output via Serial
     button to output results via serial.
  4. Configure the fields and click
    Apply
     to enable the settings on the device.
    By default, Parity is set to None, Data Bits is set to 8, and Stop bits is set to 1. The maximum message length is 512 characters.
