Configuring Network Settings

Configurable communication settings include hostname, IP address, subnet, gateway, DHCP, DNS, and date/time setting NTP servers.
Network configuration is unnecessary if DHCP or the default DHCP fallback addresses are in use.
To configure network settings:
  1. Access
    Admin Settings
from the left menu on the
    Home
    screen.
  2. Navigate to
    Network Config
    from
    Admin Settings
    .
  3. On the
    Network Configuration
screen, change the desired fields by entering the field value and clicking
    Update
    next to the corresponding field.
Ensure that DHCP is disabled when assigning a static IP address value.
  4. After the settings are updated, click
    Apply Changes
for the new configuration to take effect.
  5. Applying network changes restarts and logs you out of your session.
When assigning a static IP address value, specify the Gateway and Subnet. If you do not properly set the static settings before attempting to disable DHCP, the Apply Changes button is unavailable.
  6. Observe the warning message indicating that applying the network changes results in a reboot of the device.
  7. Click
    Return Home
at the top of the page to access the
    Network Configuration
    screen.
