Changing the Hostname

To change the hostname on the device:
  1. Locate the hostname field.
  2. Enter the desired hostname:
    The hostname must be alphanumeric and have a maximum length of 26 characters.
  3. Click
    Apply
     when complete.
The device, application, and network hardware may need to be power-cycled for the hostname change to occur.
The new hostname is visible following the device reboot.
