Connecting Using Simple Serial Interface

Connect the USB scanner to the device using SSI mode.
Ensure that the scanner is in SSI mode. Refer to the Refer to the scanner Product Reference Guide and scan the
SSI Over USB CDC
 barcode.
Configure DataWedge scanner selection.
  1. Connect the scanner cable USB connector to the USB port of the device or the USB port on the Vehicle Dock.
    The scanner beeps.
  2. Open an application and scan a barcode.
    The barcode data displays in the text field.
