Replacing the Battery

After removing the battery to install a microSD card or SIM card, reinstall the battery to power the tablet.
User modification of the device, particularly in the battery well, such as labels, asset tags, engravings, stickers, etc., may compromise the intended performance of the device or accessories. Performance levels such as sealing (Ingress Protection (IP)), impact performance (drop and tumble), functionality, temperature resistance, etc., could be affected. DO NOT put any labels, asset tags, engravings, stickers, etc., in the battery well.
Do not add or remove a microSD card during battery swap.
  1. Press the Power button until the menu appears.
  2. Touch
    Power Off
    .
  3. Slide the battery release latches toward the sides of the tablet.
    The battery ejects slightly.

  4. Lift the battery out of the tablet.

  5. Insert the replacement battery, bottom first, into the battery compartment at the back of the device.
    install battery
  6. Press the battery down into the compartment until the release latches snap into place.
