Connecting the Ethernet Cable to the M12 Connector

This procedure describes how to connect the Ethernet cable to the M12 connector.

Position the Ethernet cable connector so that its keying feature aligns with the matching keying features on the M12 connector.

Carefully insert the cable into the M12 connector, and then rotate the Ethernet cable while applying light pressure.

The cable locks into place after the keying features align.

Secure the connection by hand-tightening the Ethernet cable connector to the M12 connector.

Tools are not required for this connection.

Ensure only Zebra cable assemblies are used with the FXR90.

This procedure also applies to other M12 connectors, including USB, GPIO, and Power.
