Quick Camera Photo Mode and Video Mode Settings

Access common settings directly from the main photo or video screen for quick adjustments.
When you are in Photo mode, several quick setting icons are available on the screen:
  • Flash
    - Touch this icon to cycle through flash options:
    • Auto
      - The camera decides if a flash is needed.
    • On
      - The flash will always trigger.
    • Off
      - The flash will never trigger.
  • Timer
    - Select Off (default), 3 seconds, or 10 seconds.
  • Aspect Ratio
    - The size (in pixels) of the photo: 12.5M (default), 8M, 5M, 720p, WVGA, VGA, QVGA, 50M.
  • More Settings / Pro Mode
    - Advanced settings like Image Quality Analyzer, Multi-frame noise reduction (MFNR), and AutoFocus Animation.
  • Face Retouching
    - Identify faces in a captured photo and automatically blur them, and turn face detection On or Off.
When you switch to Video mode, the following quick settings are typically available:
  • Flash (Video Light)
    - Touch this icon to turn the camera LED on or off to act as a continuous light source for your video.
  • Resolution
    - Set video quality to: 4k UHD (rear camera only), HD 1080p (default), HD 720p, SD 480p, VGA, CIF, or QVGA.
  • Audio
    - Set the audio encoder to: AMRNB, or AAC (default).
  • White Balance
    - Provides the ability to change the white balance to Auto, Incandescent, or Fluorescent.
