Image retention can occur when a static image displays continuously for an extended period. You may see a faint remnant of the image even after a new image appears.
To prevent image retention, follow these guidelines:
Set the display to turn off after a few minutes of idle time.
Rotate background images periodically.
Turn off the display when you are not using the device.
Use a screen saver with the following configuration:
Set the background color to black.
Use a small, moving image (approximately 2% of the display size).
Move the image randomly across the screen.
