ip.snmp.enable

This printer setting refers to the SNMP protocol.

Setvar

To enable or disable the SNMP protocol:
! U1 setvar "ip.snmp.enable" "value"
Values
"on"
 enables the SNMP protocol
"off"
 disables the SNMP protocol
Default
  • For printers purchased in the EMEA region after August 1, 2025:
    "off"
  • For all other printers:
    "on"

Getvar

To respond with the SNMP status:
! U1 getvar "ip.snmp.enable"
