Add a Device

Your privileges must permit you to add devices.
  1. From the dashboard, click
    Device
    .
    The
    Devices
     screen appears.
  2. Click
    +Add Device
    .
    The
    Add Device
     screen appears.

  3. In the
    Device Id
     field, enter the device ID.
    Device Id usually is a unique combination of a device model and a device serial number (Example: TC51_11111111111111) The device ID must be from 10 to 64 alphanumeric characters in length. The allowed special characters are underscore (_) hyphen (-) and period (.).
    The other fields may be completed now or later.
  4. Click
    Create
    .
    If you entered invalid information, the system displays an error message.
    The device created is listed in the
    Devices
     screen.
