Download the Printer Emulation Zip File

To download the Printer Emulation, follow these steps from either your computer or mobile device.
  1. Open a web browser and navigate to: zebra.com/printer-emulations.
  2. Locate your printer type in the list of printers and tap
    Download Now
    , or scroll to Contact Support if support for your printer cannot be found.
  3. Fill out the information on the Printer Emulation Download Request form.
  4. Click
    Submit
    .
  5. Read the End User License Agreement.
  6. Click
    Accept and Begin Download Now

    To download the Printer Emulation, follow these steps from either your computer or mobile device.
  7. Save and store the Printer Emulation zip file to your computer or storage location (Box, DropBox, etc.), or Android device if you want to use Zebra Printer Setup Utility application for installing the printer emulation.
The zip file contains the following files:
  • The Printer Emulation .nrd (or .zpl) file to be downloaded to a Zebra printer.
  • Text files (.txt) with the SGD commands to enable and disable the printer emulation.
  • A sample test format that can be sent to the printer when the printer emulation is enabled.
