Printer Setup Utility is available on Google Play.
If you download the application from anywhere other than Google Play, your security settings must be enabled to download and install non-market applications. To enable this function:
From your mobile device's Settings screen, tap
Security and Privacy
.
Tap
Install unknown apps
.
Locate the app from the list and tap the
Toggle
button to activate it.
If you download the Printer Setup Utility application (.apk) to a laptop/desktop computer instead of directly to the Android device, you will also need a generic utility to transfer the .apk file to the Android device and install it. An example of a generic utility is Android File Transfer from Google, which allows Mac OS X 10.5 and higher users to transfer files to their Android device. You can also sideload the Printer Setup Utility .apk (go to Sideloading for more information).
