Sideloading means installing applications without using the official application stores, such as Google Play, and includes those times when you download the application to a computer.
To sideload the Printer Setup Utility application:
Connect your Android device to the computer using the correct USB (or micro-USB) cable.
Open two Windows Explorer windows on your computer: one window for the device and one for the computer.
One window should display your mobile device as a drive.
The other window should display the folder that contains the Printer Setup Utility application (.apk) on your computer.
Drag and drop the Printer Setup Utility application from the computer to your device.
Because you will need to find the file later, note the location where you placed it on your device.
It is generally easiest to place the file in the root directory of your device rather than inside a folder.
Open the file manager application on your device. (For example, on a Samsung Galaxy 5, your file manager is My Files. Alternatively, download a file manager application on Google Play.)
Locate the Printer Setup Utility application in the files on your device and tap it to initiate the installation.
