Enabling RS-232 Output in Device Settings

TCP/IP output is disabled by default and must be explicitly enabled in the device’s settings.
  1. Select the respective communication type tab. For example, Ethernet Port 1 or USB.
  2. Scroll down to RS-232 settings.
  3. Check the
    Enable RS-232 Control
    checkbox (disabled by default).
    Observe the
    Trigger String
    and keep this value for reference to send a Serial trigger from external software.
  4. Click
    Apply
    in the RS-232 area and
    OK
    on the resulting prompt to save the configuration.
