Sending a Serial Trigger to the Device

  1. Open a Serial client terminal software such as PuTTy (shown in the example).
  2. Establish a connection to the device by clicking Session.
  3. Enter the COM port number and Speed.
  4. Click Serial as the Connection Type.
  5. Click Open to open a terminal.
  6. Observe the blank terminal window with a green cursor.
  7. Type the Trigger String as defined in Settings in Zebra Aurora and click Enter.
  8. Enter TRIGGER as the default Trigger String and click Enter.
  9. Observe the device successfully trigger a job.
