Open a TCP/IP client terminal software.
The screenshots used in this example is from PuTTy (putty.org). Hercules and MobaXterm are also compatible.
Click Session to establish a connection to the device.
Enter the control port number of the device.
Select Telnet as the connection type.
Click Open to open a terminal.
If successful, observe a blank terminal with a green cursor.
Type the Trigger String (as defined in Zebra Aurora) and click Enter.
Enter the default Trigger string TRIGGER and click Enter.
Observe the device successfully trigger a job.
