Datacode

Configure Datacode settings such as a No Read String, Module Size, or Search Strategy. This tool is useful for reading 2D Datamatrix symbology barcodes that are difficult to decode.

Setting
Description
No Read String
Provide a string for No Read.
Module Size
Select a minimum and maximum value for the size of the module.
Polarity
Select a polarity level:
  • Any
  • Bright
  • Dark
Allow Distortion
Select a distortion level:
  • Low
  • Medium
  • High
Search Strategy
Select a search strategy based on speed or precision:
  • Super Fast
  • Fast
  • Precise
  • Strict
  • Extended
Contrast Threshold
Set a contrast threshold for Datacode to use.
String Match
Successfully decodes if the decoded value matches the supplied string.
