Command Channels

Command Channels

Match strings are set by channels that support controlling devices that use commands such as TCP/IP or Serial Port.
Ensure that
Enable TCP/IP Control
 and
Enable TCP/IP Results
 are enabled in
Communication
 settings.
Enabling
TCP/IP Results
 is necessary if command results are required to be read from the channel. It is recommended to enable this setting even in cases where the return value is unnecessary for the set command because it can return useful information about possible errors.
You cannot get a match string value if this option is disabled.
